server cant connect to internet and cant vpn to server

Hi,

We were with ATT for many years and we swtiched over to Comcast 2 days ago. Comcast set us up with a DPC3939B router. When the person came to install our router. He disconnected our ethernet cable from the ATT router and moved it over to the comcast router. Everything works fine. All our desktops and wireless laptops work and can connect to the internet. The only thing that did not was our server. We couldnt connect to our server from within our network and the server could not connect to the internet. Finally i was able to connect to the server from within our network by going into the comcast router settings and going into Local IP network and changing Gateway address from 10.1.10.1 to 192.168.1.254 Now i can at least get data off of our server. I still cant connect to the internet.

Any ideas?

I also jiust added the comcast dns servers to the network settings page. Now the server can connect to the internet. I still cant vpn in to the server. Also based on comments from other people i disabled the firewall on the comcast router to test and still couldnt vpn in. We do have a static ip.
