Remote Connectivity Issues

Running into some trouble administering a VPN in southeastern Vermont, traffic consistently fails to reach our gateway when the requestor is a topologically close IP.

All manner of traffic fails (although ping successfully name resolves), giving rise to intermittent connectivity over our VPN, but only to "nearby" users. The issue manifests itself usually two hops upstream but occasionally traffic fails to go even that far and dies just beyond the user's gateway. Access from further away is unimpeded, and known "good" configurations fail when brought too "close" to the VPN server.

Any guidance as to a resolution would be most appreciated.

I would like to assist with any gateway connectivity issues. I am not able to troubleshoot your VPN as this would be passed the Comcast Business demarcation policy. However, I can check for any issues with the gateway that may be preventing VPN connectivity.
