random disconnects

​hi, CM1200 modem seems to randomly disconnect every couple days, been happening for about 6 months now ​

​and sometimes i have to do a hard reset to get connected again. its annoying for sure. ive looked to​

​netgear for updates but they say the cable internet provider is responsible for updates- so not sure that​

​is the issue. but maybe the cable tap a pole should be checked? weve had alot of windy weather for sure and wires​

​certainly swaying in wind alot.  this is from the modem log:​

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forums, @jbhb1! Six months is a long time to be dealing with this, but you're in the right place. From the lo you provided, it looks like late night is the typical time that you see this issue crop up. Is that consistent, or do the drops happen randomly throughout the day?

@Comcast_TimothyS​ Hi Tim,  more often than not it happens in afternoon, seems to rarely happen in morning hours, generally wind is calm in mornings and kicks up in afternoons - but that is just speculating.
