Problems when both Ethernet and Wifi are enabled

A client has an odd problem. They complained that on their laptop trying to connect to certain sites returns ERR_CONNECTION_RESET (including comcast.com and email, google.com). The desktop seems to be fine.

I finally discovered that turning off the laptops WiFi fixed the problem.

The router is a Comcast Business unit (CGA4131COM Technicolor ver 2.4). Could there be a bad WiFi setup that would cause an issue like this?

Hello, @user_ff5c72 that error is caused by an issue with the internet connection. Try rebooting the modem and router. Here is a list of other possible fixes I've found:

1. Check the VPN setting or disconnect from it.

2. Clear the Browser Cache

3. Deactivate antivirus and firewall

4. Disable Proxy Server Access

5. Reset TCP/IP Settings

Let us know if any of these resolve the issue.

Reboot the modem/router does not help. Everything works OK until you turn the WiFi back on. I've asked the end users to try some other phones and laptops to confirm it's a bad setup/hardware.
