Persistent connectivity issues, no resolution

I apologize for my post not being techincal, but I hope someone can recommend next steps for me.  I have a business account at my residence because I work at home.  My connectivity has been terrible for several months, and no one seems to be able to figure out the issue.  The connection goes down and up several times a day, sometimes several times an hour.  I've opened multiple tickets, and the area technicians (and their supervisors, and their supervisor) know my address by heart.  We've had multiple replacement gateway/modems, everything checked repeatedly, and have repeatedly been told the problem is "upstream".  Multiple escalations to maintenance, engineering, and all we get is continued intermittent connectivity.  We're repeatedly told "they have to catch it happening to track it down"...really? Months of this??  Are there tests I can run, data I can collect, a different phone number I can call, certain technical jargon I should know?

Hello Khannings and welcome,

It sound to me that you have upstream, downstream, or signal to noise ratio signaling issues that are out of specification. Please take a looksee at these Troubleshooting Tips  for they may be helpful for your diagnosis.

Hope this helps you out and please let us know if we can assist further.
