Max number of devices before packet loss occurs
We've got a Comcast business line with a 75Mb download speed. We've been experiencing horrible packet loss, sometimes up to 96%, every day for at least the last month. When I called for support the technician on the phone told me if I have more than 8 devices using a 75Mb line then I'm going to get packet loss like that. The best she could do was schedule a technician to come out and check things. We had a technician come out 6 months ago and replace the modem because we constantly getting dropped connections from the modem to their service so I'm not sure that's going to help anything. How many new modems can they try right?
Has anyone else been told this same thing?

We were told the same that if we upgrade to business all our devices would be fine. We have 12 and it crashes all the time. Mean while I was just on customer service and guess what ???? The internet went down so the phone went down and they said its past your 60 days so you can upgrade. Um no your rep told me this would work and we believed him. Now, no call back or email... I also filled out a complaint with the FCC. Comcast is rediculous.
