Looking for a little help with SMC and Cisco ASA

I would first make sure your ASA WAN configuration ia infact contains the following:
a.) correct routable Static IP address

b.) correct gateway Static IP address

c.) correct sub-net mask Static IP address

d.) primary 75.75.75.75 and secondary 75.75.76.76 DNS addresses

If you are using your ASA DHCP Server, then having your SMC DHCP Server disabled with avoid any conflicts.

Now that you say that, I was using ASDM to configure the port 0 as WAN or VLAN2, and I don't recall seeing anywhere for a default gateway, just IP and Subnet.  Wonder if it is as something simple as a command to add the default gateway.  I do know when I was testing, I setup my laptop with the correct settings and I was able to get out. So I just need to figure out how to modify the configuration for port 0.

All networkiing device that can be setup for a static IP must always use a.) routable static IP address b.) gateway static IP address c.)  subnet mask static IP address, and good practice to always add the primary and secondary DNS addresses.

a. + b. + c. are always minimally required - FYI

Without a default gateway, your router won't know how to get out to the wider internet.

Not sure how you are on the CLI, but it appears the command would be:

route  0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0  tunneled

 Don't quote me on that though, never used this router.
