How to send a text from PHP

I understand how to send a text from within a PHP program. I know I need to hookup with a service provider to actually send the message. Does Comcast offer such a service? (The purpose of the texts will be notification of password resets requested by a user. I'm extremely familiar with the TCPA and know that this kind of text is not a violation.)

Hello WalterOney and welcome,

Comcast offers PHP programming facility in their business webhosting package and above, as can be seen within this link.  However, Comcast does not provide any non-webhosting PCP service to do anything with TCPA.

Hope this helps you out.

The TCPA is the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991. Anyone who sends texts from a web program would have to be aware of the statute and the relevant FCC regulations. I am. The reason I mentioned it is to discourage responses telling me it's illegal to text from a web app. It's not helpful to tell me about Comcast's service packages because you can assume I have at least the level I need to deploy a PHP solution.
