High Latency and Packet Loss for the last week

Each evening for the last week or two my connection has packet loss and high latency from around 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and then returns to normal. 

 

I have done trace routes during the problem and after showing the latency on certain hops between my office on Comcast Business and a colo data center that is connected via VPN. 

 

Here are the pings stats from inside the VPN during and then after. I talked to tier 1 support and have a ticket number for tier 2 but I'd rather not wait 24 to 48 hours to try to resolve this. I can post copies of the tracerts with the public IPs if requested. 

 

During the Problem

Inside VPN ping stats from DC to FR
Ping statistics for 10.10.1.1:
Packets: Sent = 978, Received = 929, Lost = 49 (5% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 71ms, Maximum = 150ms, Average = 119ms

 

After the problem goes and away, this is normal for the connection. 

Inside VPN ping stats from DC to FR
Ping statistics for 10.10.1.1:
Packets: Sent = 1381, Received = 1381, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 8ms, Maximum = 83ms, Average = 14ms

 

Update 8pm, the problem is occurring again now.
