Help me fix this.

I moved to Comcast Business because I needed fast and reliable internet at all times. For the first month the internet was alright, but now there seems to be lot of issues. Probably twice everyday I just lose internet connectivity for good 15 mins. Its a big deal for me because I work from home a lot and this is a huge deal.

 

The internet speed fluctuates too. Comcast business advertizes as having an award winning support, I wonder what other support look like. These guys made me wait for 45 mins, kept on redirecting me to other places afterwards and once I got to the right person, they spent good 15 min getting my details and then the line just disconnected. This happened twice.

 

I really really need good and reliable internet in the Redwood city in Bay area, If any knows a fix for my problem or can suggest an alternative service other than Comcast that actually works please let me know.

Totally agree. In the background as I write this I hear the "thank you for continuing to hold, your call is important to us" and the crappy music that has been going on for over a half hour. This after being hung up on and told that there were no agents available for live chat to help me with the problem that I spent way to much time on last Friday, when I was told that my escalation ticket is CR571254668, and that 24 hour turnaround meant that a I would be contacted on Monday. This is the first day that (because this is a business) I've had time to try to get this corrected.

finally got an agent after 45 minutes who only had the power to discover that my ticket was "still open" in the level 2 system. After listening to my frustrations she sent them a note to give me a call ASAP. I'm not saying that's a runaround, but it was definitely not a solution to an ongoing problem about getting readable voicemail in a timely way.

i was also told that the support folks are understaffed and that is adding to the problem of turnaround. Let me tell you that they are very clearly not understaffed on the marketing and political influence side. COMCAST is evil, not stupid.

tiogaboy70's problem was voicemail a modem refresh won't help.  Also, don't encourage thread hijacking.

 

The originbal poster SOUNDS to me like he has some sort of signaling problem with his modem.  He should call

in and get a tech support person and ask them to check his modem signal levels, then ask them to check that the proper boot code is being handed out to his modem.

 

As I am sure you know a 15 minute drop is almost certainly signal levels.  It sounds like the original installer didn't take the time to make sure the levels were correct.

Thank you for the heads up on tiogaboy70 discussing a voice feature issue in the connectivity forum. It is best that we keep on topic for sake of other customers seeking support here. As a foot note, with some voice features that we offer at times the systems can get "hung-up" in there communications and need a refresh to get the services running again. As an employee the "refresh" that I have access to reaches more than just the on-site equipment but different devices along the network. please send us a refresher as well, the interenet had been out for most of the past 2 days, wea re trying to run a business and this is just embarassing.  please help!!!
