Dropped Calls

For the past 7 days, we have experienced dropped calls between the hours of 10:00pm and 1:30am into our Police Department. The Chief is concerned with this from an emergency services stand point. Does Comcast do maintenace during this time frame? If so, why no notification?

Hello VoBloomingdale and welcome, Comcast typically performs its maintenance between 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM in all time zones. If you are continuing to have dropped call issues, I recommend that you contact 800-391-3000, use the Digital Voice technical option, and ask the technical agent to check all your switch settings, reset your telephone modem, and if you continue to get dropped calls then request a Comcast Technician to come to your facility. Hope this helps you out.

we don't have digital voice. we have PRIs over Metro-E. Would the AdTran be automatically set to check for firmware updates in that time frame?
