Daily Connectivity Issues / VOIP related?
We have had service for about a year now and had connectivity issues at least once a week all year. We are to the point where we have drop outs for 10-60 seconds at a time every day now. . I have had the modem replaced once, but that only made things worse. I have had a tech out once, but he states the issue is on our end. I have torn our network inside out and can't find any problems on our end. My question is that since we use VOIP, is there a specific model modem we should be using that works best for this? Also today I was reviewing firewall logs and noticed i had a drop out at the same exact time of an ipv6 block. Not sure if its related. The other thing I noticed is the strange pattern of IPV6 blocks. Anyone think this might be related?

Hello, how are you? I hope your day has been a good one! I am sorry to hear about the connectivity issues. If you can send a private message with your name, address, and account number (or phone number) I can always take a closer look at your service and equipment. The firewall and firewall blocks could be contributing or related to the issue. Do you use your own modem or leased equipment? For the firewall concern, we will want to speak with our Customer Security Assurance team at 1-888-565-4329 if needed.
