Connectivity Problem
Are there logs available in the Netgear CG3000DCR gateway/modem that show Internet activity?
I am having a problem with my remote users connecting to my email server. I would like to see if they are at least connecting or beign rejected at the Comcast gateway.
Thanks.

If your CG3000DCR is anything like mine, it's probably just because after running for a whopping three hours or so, it starts dropping 70-80% of incoming packets.

Hello awrych,
You should be able to ping both your Netgear 3000 static IP gateway address and your routable static IP device from the internet using a command window.
Also, you can log into the Netgear 3000 and go to gateway summary, then click on Network tab, then scroll down until you see connected computers. Make absolutely sure you see your Server static IP routable address show up in here (disable all popup blockers in your browser for this to work). If you do not, then you have server static ip network configuration error that needs to be corrected.
