BGP Announcement

I have a request for an ASN with ARIN and I will be receiving an IP assignment from ARDC (44Net - Ham Radio). Will I be able to BGP announce the assignment from my own router, or do I need to contact someone to set up peering? I am on the "Business Internet - Advanced" plan.

Hey there, kb9gxk, thanks for reaching out through Comcast Business Forums. Were you able to get support with setting up peering or did you still need assistance with troubleshooting?

I have not reached out to support yet as I am waiting for my ASN assignment, and I need that prior to being able to receive the IPs from the services.

Please send us a private message with your full name, business name, full address, and phone number. By clicking the "message" icon in the upper right page of our forum page. Once you click on that, input our shared handle (Comcast Business) to send us a private message.

• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message" icon in the top right corner
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Comcast Business" there
• - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Comcast Business" from that list
• - An "Comcast Business" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it
