Method for enabling Guest WiFi with COM

I switched to using my own modem for the Starter business plan. I am using the Cisco  Linksys E2000 router. It does not allow a second WiFi network for guest access.

Does anyone know how I can get a guest network? Can I just use another router and connect it to the Cisco E2000? Will that work?

Hi,

I recently got a Comcast Business and I need to enable my router to have my customers access without accessing my private network (Guest WiFi). Does anyone know how to do this?

Hello amitramani,

You might want to take a peak at this Linksys Forum  for it provides info on a Cisco device that does have Guest Account access, works in Bridge Mode, etc. Here is another Linksys Forum that has info on the E2000for you, too.

Hope this helps you out.

Do you have a Linksys router? If not, then which unit do you have? Not all routers have a "Guest WiFi" option.
