iPad Air won’t connect automatically to the hotspot

I recently purchased an Apple IPad Air 4th generation. I used the Bluetooth option to transfer everything from my IPad 6th generation to the new tablet. When I try to log into the xfinity hotspot with our business account, I have to go into Safari every time to connect. On the IPad 6, I only had to do that one time and it prompted me to download a profile file and install it. I’m not getting that on the iPad Air. Also, it will disconnect from the xfinity hotspot for no apparent reason. This is a business account login.

I am running version 15.3 of the software and I have this issue whether I try to connect to XFINITY ssid or xfinitywifi SSID.

Hey there, @TomCole, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Business Forums regarding getting logged into the Xfinity Hotspot on your new iPad. I know getting new devices can be stressful to ensure everything is connected correctly. Have you downloaded the Xfinity Hotspot app in order to use the app to connect automatically? Here is a link with more information on how to ensure you are connecting automatically, https://comca.st/34lpR0D. Let me know if this information helps!
