Can’t use hotspot on my Mac osX laptop

As of today I’m not able to access a hotspot. I was prompted to download “Xfinity.mobileconfig” which I did. I was asked to enter my log in through the browser, which I did. Now when I open the browser nothing happens. I don’t get a log in prompt, just a white screen. What can I do?
