When will existing Comcast business phone numbers be able to sign up for VoiceEdge Select?

We recently called Comcast Business Sales to inquire about upgrading our existing Comcast Business phone service to Comcast Business VoiceEdge Select.  We were told that they currently can not port exiting Comcast phone numbers over to VoiceEdge Select.  Sales rep indicated that it's being worked on but had no idea when it would be supported.   It's virtually impossible to consider an upgrade to VoiceEdge Select, without using our existing business phone numbers that have been in use for a long time.   Can someone provide some validation that this issue is being worked on and a sense for when we might see it?

Hi oeelks and welcome to the business forums.
 

Thanks for your question on the Voice Edge Select product. This would be correct. At this time, we are unable transfer existing numbers from a Full Feature or Mobility line to a Voice Edge Select line. 

 

Since a Voice Edge Select line does come with many features and is compatible with multiple systems, a simple switch over is currently not possible. We are actively working on this, however, I am unable to provide an estimated time of arrival. Please check with us in the future and let me know if you need anything.
