unable to assign phone to user

In the BVE portal, I am unable to assign a phone to a user.  The page just stays on loading for 10+ minutes.

I also experienced a similar issue when trying to add users to a hunt group.  The page just stayed on loading for a long time.

I've tried clearing cookies, I've tried using Incognito mode, rebooting, etc.

This is what I see in the javascript console when I click "assign"

Hi there, thanks for sharing these details. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues assigning a phone to a user.  I know how frustrating that must be! Are you using Chrome to access this? Have you tried using the Comcast Business VoiceEdge in My Account by chance?

I am using the latest version of Chrome, and the Comcast Business VoiceEdge accessible through My Account is where I am trying to make these changes.

Can you try a different browser? If you're having any issues the account owner can call a representative at (877) 761-7401 to access Business VoiceEdge in My Account.

I get the exact same Javascript error in Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft Edge.

I understand I can call, but being able to manage my service through this portal is part of the service.

Is there any way to escalate this issue to a developer or something?  This is clearly an issue with the Javascript on the portal.

To get started, please send us a message with your full name, business name, complete service address, and account number or phone number to "Comcast Business". To do so, simply follow these steps: 

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary
 • Click the "direct message" icon located in the upper right corner of this page
 • Click the "New message" icon (pencil and paper) 
 • Type "Comcast Business" in the to line and select "Comcast Business" from the drop-down list
 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
 • Press Enter to send your message
