Please Select a Valid WAV file

Hi

I've been trying to upload a WAV file for my voicemail greeting but continually receive the error in the subject line. I have created in Audacity at 8000hz, mono track and saved it as a Micrososoft WAV file with U Law encoding, the file is 560kb but still I receive a "PLEASE SELECT A VALID WAV FILE" error when attempting to upload. Hoping someone can help me trouble shoot. I've had the following support ticket open for 5 days and have yet to hear from anyone. (CR776688262) Thank you for your help.

Hi cutshop and welcome to the business forums.

I would like to assist with your audio file you're trying to upload. Are you trying to upload this for your hold music on the Business Voice Edge services? If so, are you trying to do so through the portal just like in the following link?

I can assist with your voicemail concerns. Can you please provide the name, address and phone number on the account through private message?

Do you mind verifying whether or not you have Comcast Business Voice Over IP Services or not? If you do have Comcast Business VOIP Services, please confirm if you're trying to upload the file as explained int he instructions in the following link;

If you still need assistance, please send me a private message to get started.

Your MOH file should be this format:

The Threshold music files uploaded by the administrator must be CCITT μ-law, 8.000 kHz, 8-bit, Mono, 7 kb/sec WAV files that are a maximum of 10 minutes in length. The maximum size of this file is 4.6875 MB. To create a WAV file using your PC requires specific settings in Windows Sound Editor. Customer is responsible for any ASCAP or other broadcast rules regarding the music they select.

Voice Edge Select.  I recording voicemail box messages direcly into the portal using an Iphone and sound was still unacceptable. I also recorded and uploaded messages following the suggested audio format and the messages still souond like an AM radio.

Sad.
