Informative Menu Options for Extra Information

We use our auto-attendant for providing information to the caller so we answer the phone less and help the people who are actually in the store. Because of this, we would like to know how to set up something as described below.

Imagine our greeting saying "Press 5 for information about our shipping services." We then want another prompt to play desbribing our services, then returning to the main menu. How do we go about getting this accomplished?

Thank you in advance.

Hey there,

Yes, that makes a lot of sense. How do I go about adding a second automated assistant in the comcast business account dashboard? I should be able to figure it out from there. I will continue to work on it and try to find a solution while awaiting a response. Thanks so much, this was a lot of help.

EDIT: I'm talking with a comcast tech about the attendents now. Thanks for the help!

Hi rick1234567890 and welcome to the business forums.

What you're describing is possible with our auto-attendant features. The call would need to leave the original auto-attendant that would then forward to a different auto-attendant which would then describe the information you are trying to relay. The call would then return back to the original auto-attendant for the main menu. Linking auto-attendants in this fashion is normally referred to as a daisy-chain.

Please let me know if you need anything.

You should have multiple auto-attendants ready for use. You can verify that here: https://voiceedge.comcast.com/.

Please let me know if you need any additional assistance.
