email address select is already registered

I created an account for a generic supervisor user.  Before assigning them an extension I activated the account and logged into the app.  There was no number listed and it wouldn't let me enter the number I wanted to assign.  So I went back to the account management page and assigned the user the extension I wanted.  When I went back to the app nothing updated.  Then under account management there were two supervisor accounts listed that appeared to be identical.  Not sure what to do, I deleted both accounts.  Now I am unable to use that email address to create a new account and assign them an extension.  If I wait a day, will the user be fully deleted that I can re-use the email address? I should be able to re-use the email address if I've deleted the account.  I tried logging into the account I created and the system tells me it doesn't exist.

Hello and Happy Monday, ! I hope you had a great weekend! I also appreciate you taking a moment out of your day to reach out to us on our Business Community Forums! You’ve reached the best place and perfect person to help with virtually all of your account needs! Going forward, I'm truly sorry to hear about the account profile/login issues you're having with your online services. If you deleted the current profiles with the email address in question assigned, this should clear within 24-hours allowing you to use the assigned email address again to create a new profile going forward etc.

However, so that we can take a closer look at your account from the backend and see what tools we have to help, please send us a private chat message by selecting the “chat” icon on the top right side of our page and then using our singular Xfinity Support handle (not an agent name) to get started. Once you have started a chat message, please provide your name and service address as it appears on your monthly billing statements. Thanks again for both your time and patience!
