DND for Hunt Group
I am trying to find a way to quickly turn on DND for a Hunt Group. We just got our BVE installed last week and am finalizing the set up. I have the schedule for the Hunt Group, extension 300, set to forward to the Auto Attendant immediately after hours. But there are times we quickly want to turn it on in case we have an unplanned meeting, etc. I thought I could do the following from one of the office phones
Do Not Disturb Activation *78300
Do Not Disturb Deactivation *79300
This did not work. Maybe I am looking at it the wrong way. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Oh no, I am so sorry about that and we can take a look into this further for you. Can you please send us a private message with your name, the full address, and the account number?

Good morning, thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to the Digital Care Team here through forums and we are sorry to see that you are having some issues with the hunt group. You have reached the right team to help. You can actually fully control and view your hunt group feature online through our website. This link https://comca.st/3aVLPEu will help walk you through how to view and make changes to this feature. Let me know if this does not help. 🙂

Thank you but that did not help. I know how to set up the Hunt Group. I want to know how to turn on DND for the entire group. Not just and individual line.

If you get an answer that is not too specific for your account, please fill us in. We would also like to do this but have been told that the only way to do this is to set every phone in the hunt group to DND (our hunt groups are simultaneous ring).
Our workaround was to set up a separate hunt group with just one phone that autoforwards calls to the second hunt group with all of the extensions we want to ring.
That way, we have just one phone for incoming calls that we set to DND.
The downside to this is that some Caller ID is lost between the transfers, and we have the added cost and complexity of another hunt group.
