They gave my business number away

Comcast replaced my aging modem and now my phone number that I have been using for over 20 years have been changed to a new number. My customers are unable to call in to place orders or communicate with me. I have opened up 4 escalation tickets in the last 2 days and called at least 10 times to try and get this resolve. Everytime I call tech support, I'm put on hold for at least 30 minutes sometimes gets disconnected and I have to start over again. I have spoken to their manager to get my old number back because this is impacting my business and teh answer I get is sorry we can't get your old number back. They keep promising me that someone from Tier 2 will contact me back withing the hour, 4 hours, at the end of teh day and yet no one contacted me. They do not understand teh impact of my issue as I rely on people calling in to place orders and such and have been down but yet no one at Comacst really cares. Is there anyone that can help me resolve my issue please because I am getting no where and my business is bieng hurt because of this and not mentioning signs I have to remake with teh new number, bank accounts, business cards and this is just to name a few.

I called back today and Spoke to Joey and he helped resolve my problem. Now my business is back online and I am grateful that I was able to talk to Joey and he was able to help me. He was so helpful and offered me help as where other agents just told me that my older number is given out and I would have to live with the old number. He was also very nice and kept me company while he was fixing the issue and explaining what he was doing throughout teh process. This really made my New Year!!!!!
