The worst service of any major company

I just can't imagine what will happen if the latest acquisition by Comcast goes through. Comcast can't even handle their complaints at this time. I have been trying for over two months to get into the Auto Attendant. Every time I call I get someone who gives me poor or erroneous information. They then PROMISE that someone will get back to me within 48 hours. I get a call and guess what? The new person still isn't the one who can help me.

All I can say is Comcast better hope that FIOS doesn't come to my area, because I'll be switching in a heartbeat.

Hello Innkeeper and welcome,

I apologize for your inability to obtain any accurate information pertaining to Auto-Attendant (AA) for your Comcast Digital Voice (CDV) service. I will attempt to provide you the most accurate information pertaining to the best of my knowledge.

AA is only offered by Comcast in specific regions within the domestic US of A, as well as, is supported within only certain CDV. Comcast is currently in the process of enhancing AA across all regions and CDV services, as for the intuitively obvious reasons.

So, I would contact a 1-800-391-3000 agent and simply request to know if your region and CDV does in fact currently support AA. Lastly, Comcast does have a VoiceEdge telephony system that offers AA across the board so you might want to check the aforementioned link out for some video detail on AA.

Hope this helps you out.
