Phone Signal types

Hi,

 

Does anyone know how to determine what signal type we are getting from our modem?  Our network vendor is trying to determine if the signal type is loop start or ground start.  Have been tyring to get a tech on the phone to asnwer but forever on hold...

Hi Peter and welcome to the business support forums.

 

I can definitely help with your voice inquiry. If you have our Comcast Business Voice services, this would be your Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) coming from our equipment. As a result, devices that would attempt to control the line signaling would not work.
