Outbound Be Anywhere not working

I did see a similar post at http://forums.businesshelp.comcast.com/t5/Business-Voice/Comcast-Mobility-Be-Anywhere-number-missing/m-p/34206 and followed the instructions provided there, but cannot use my cell to call into my Comcast number and then make an outbound call.

When I turn on Be Anywhere for my cell phone and call my Comcast number, I am prompted for a PIN. No PIN works.

The one one time I kept trying, I got a text message alert that my voicemail box had too many failed passwords and was temporarily disabled. I don’t have voicemail with Comcast.

When i edit the PIN in the web interface, that PIN is the one that works at 888-710-6080.

What am I missing?

Thanks.  I was able to get this solved with help from Comcast.

So, there were two issues, mine and one by Outage. I have answers for both, which comes down to a misunderstanding on how the app works and a lack of clear documentation for it, that I could find.

My issue originally was that when I tried using the iOS app to make a call to a test number, after disconnecting, I was called on my test number by my Business Line phone.

When calling on the app, you enter a number to dial and then have a choice as to which phone to ring. I was misinterpreting that as which phone to call from. When I chose my business line, Comcast called the business line. Once my answering machine picked up, it connected the call to the dialed number.

What I needed to do was choose my mobile. Then Comcast calls my mobile from the home phone. Once I pick up on the mobile, it calls the other number from my home and bridges the calls.

As to the phone option disappearing, if you assign the phone in question to a different user with a different login, then your login into the Comcast Business app is no longer associated with the phone and you do not have the option to make a Be Anywhere call on the app.

Hi heimdal and welcome to the business forums.

I can certainly assist with your calling feature. Please private message me your first and last name, the name of your business, the full address and the phone number associated with your business account.

I am also not able to make any outbound Be Anywhere calls. The app doesn't even have the phone option anymore. Has something changed? This was working until a month ago.
