I can dial out but I can't receive phone calls

Hello,

We have four business voice lines and a fax line.

We can dial out on all numbers but we are unable to receive calls.  When we dial from our cell phone we get a long pause followed by a busy signal.

it is obvious there is an issue routing inbound calls from local numbers - I have made successful inbound calls to my business phone using an out-of-state cell phone without issue - local numbers go to a fast busy...the question now is - which Local Exchange Carrier is to blame - they own me for 5 hours of no to-go business at my restaurant.

Same here....our entire office cannot receive incoming calls.  I just tried calling my direct line from my cel....and got a voicemail from a different company.  What's going on?

Same in Walnut Creek CA.  On hold 45 minutes, no business chat available online.  We have PRI trunk system.

Ours too, in the Portland Oregon area.  Business lines are able to dial out, but no incoming calls on 7 lines.  My home service is Comcast and also has fast busy signal.  Also, calls to Comcast help center are just fast busy as well.

Vancouver, WA business with the same problem. Calling out is fine but no one on Verizon or AT&T can call in yet sprint phones occasionlly work. We haven't had people able to call our company for about 3 hours and we are losing money every minute our customers cannot call us. Been on hold with customer support for 20 minutes now....

was able to speak to customer "no-service" rep... he indicated engineers are aware and attempting to isolate issue.

As a VoIP engineer - I began troubleshooting this issue - I could call into business using out-of-state phone, but local numbers fail.  Support rep indicated that AT&T and Verizon were both having issue with the handoff...so intuitively, this is internal to ComCast and how they rout the calls with their inbound dial-peers.

I simply want to know who is going to reimburse me for having staff sitting around this evening and the hundreds of dollars in to-go orders I have lost at my restaurant.
