How to route second phone line to main front desk phone
We are new to Comcast Business having just switched over from Frontier. With Frontier, if somebody called Line 1 at the front desk and if it was busy, Line 2 would ring, roll over to Line 1 and go to voicemail if not answered, OR it would light up as Line 2 on our front desk phone and you could answer it.
We set up a hunt group to do everything already described, Line 1 is busy, rolls over to Line 2, and goes to voice mail if not answered. However, Line 2 only rings to the phone it's connected to on the modem, so you have to get up and go to the back of the office, to answer that phone.
How can I make it so Line 2 rings to our front desk when Line 1 is engaged? It's not working for us to get up and run across the office every time we have a call on Line 2.

Hi drlisamsc and welcome to the business forums.
I would like to assist with your voice services. It seems like you have line 1 and line 2 on the same phone, is this correct? Usually, the lines in port 1 and port 2 would need to route to the same phone. This is normally set up by your phone vendor. I can also review your phone services as well just to make sure there are no issues. Please private message me your full name, the name of the business, the full service address and the phone number associated with your business account if you would like me to do so.
