How to Delete Voicemail before end of message

We get a bunch of repeat robo messages and when I press 7 to delete the message, it won't delete it until the message is done playing. Each message is over 30 seconds long. How do I delete a message before the end of the message?

I appreciate your question on voicemails and thank you for posting. You can delete a voicemail by pressing 7. While a voicemail is playing, you can delete it by pressing 77.
