Call Forward Issues

We have call forward set up on our phone line, however we have two issues that support has not been able to resolve yet.

1.  calls are set to ring on phone line 4 times before forwarding to assigned cell phone - however, both the office phone and the cell phone ring consecutively from 1st ring

2.  phone numbers are supposed to show up on cell phone as 'forwarded from' phone line, but they are not showing up on cell phone as 'forwarded from' the phone line.

Can anyone assist on this?  I've double checked our settings online and they are set up as needed above.

Thanks for visiting our support page, jessg3.

I'd need to look at your Comcast Voice configuration settings to further verify what's going on with the call forwarding feature. It sounds like you have the feature Simultaneous Ringing on but, I'm not sure about the second thing you mentioned. I'd need to look at your be anywhere and, call forwarding features. Could you send me a private message with your full name, address and phone number you're referencing?

Michael - I am unable to get back into our messages from yesterday for some reason. Can you please email me or call me so that we can finish up on the issues we were working on yesterday?

Hello @user_9214c8

Welcome to our Xfinity Support Forums for Comcast Business services. =]

Calls cannot be forwarded to international numbers, only domestic 10-digit numbers, including toll-free numbers. If the cell phone is a domestic 10-digit number, call forwarding may be set-up, however please ensure with your cellphone provider that no additional fees (including internal charges) would apply. If call forwarding is enabled, unanswered calls will not be directed to your mobile device's voicemail.

The 'Be Anywhere' feature built into the Comcast Business App may also suit your needs. I've left a link here with more information: Set up and manage Be Anywhere in the Comcast Business App

If you have additional questions, please create a new thread with your inquiries, and we (along with the rest of the community) will be more than happy to assist.
