Assistance with porting phone numbers. I have been opening tickets with support for 45 days.

I have been trying to port phone numbers from my old carrier, but the support team have not been able to complete this after various requests for the last month and a half.

Hi, @TEI-Comcast, we truly appreciate you taking the time out to contact us for support via the Xfinity Business Forums. It is unfortunate to hear that you have been experiencing unsuccessful porting requests. I can certainly understand your concerns and would be more than happy to assist you with this issue today. Have you had a chance to take a look at our Portability Faq, and verify if your number is eligible to port?

@Comcast_JoshM​ Thanks for the response. I do not believe the issue is number portability, it seems to be a process issue. I have been told on several occasions that I should receive a docusign from Comcast, but the tech was "unable to generate the envelope" for a reason that I have not received an explanation. I was asked to fax(!) some information over at one point several weeks ago, but then the ticket was closed due to the request apparently expiring.  I am at a loss for what to do. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with comcast support yesterday and have nothing to show. I lost track of how many hours I have spent working on this in the past 5-6 weeks.

We have limited support on this platform when it comes to Business lines. However, we can reach out to our peers directly. Send us a provate message and we will get started. 

 

• Click "Sign In" if necessary 

 

• Click the "Direct Messaging" icon in the top right corner

 

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon 

 

• The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Comcast Business" there 

 

• - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Comcast Business" from that list 

 

• - An "Comcast Business" graphic replaces the "To:" line
