Frequently Asked Questions

 What are Broadband Labels?

Comcast Business Broadband Labels provide easy-to-understand information about Comcast Business Internet and Comcast Business Mobile services, including pricing, speeds, data allowances, and other information, wherever customers can sign up for or change services.

Broadband Labels are intended to give you the facts you need to make the most informed decision when shopping for Comcast Business Internet or Comcast Business Mobile plans.

Why are we making Broadband Labels available to our customers?

All broadband providers must display detailed information in the format of a label to allow comparison shopping for fixed and mobile broadband services. We’re presenting you with these details in accordance with these new FCC requirements.

How can I view the Broadband Label associated with my current service plan?

Customers that subscribe to Comcast Business Internet or Comcast Business Mobile services can access their Broadband Labels through their online My Account portal. In addition, customers that subscribe to Comcast Business Internet can access their Broadband Labels via the Comcast Business Mobile App. Customers may need to download the latest version of the app in order to access their Broadband Labels. You can also view and learn more about Broadband Labels by visiting https://business.comcast.com/broadbandfacts.

Why is the monthly price on the label different than the price I see in offers when I’m shopping?

The price displayed at the top of the Broadband Label reflects our regular monthly service charge and does not include any discounts or promotions. For example, limited time offers, discounts for enrolling in Auto Pay and Paperless Billing, or offers that provide a discounted rate and require a term commitment are not reflected in the price shown on the label.

If I change my Broadband service plan, which label will I be able to view in My Account?

If you change your service plan, your My Account will display the Broadband Label associated with your current plan.

The Broadband Label shown in My Account seems to include out-of-date information. What if I want to see a more up-to-date Broadband Label for my service plan?

The Broadband Label(s) provided on My Account represent the Broadband Label(s) displayed with your most recent purchase of internet and/or mobile services. If your most recent purchase occurred before the date the FCC’s broadband labels requirement took effect (April 10, 2024), the Broadband Label(s) provided on My Account represent the label(s) that were in effect for your plan on April 10, 2024. The label(s) shown may not reflect any changes that took effect at a later date, such as changes in government fees, speeds, etc.

Up-to-date Broadband Labels for plans that are still available to new customers can be found by visiting https://business.comcast.com/broadbandfacts. Enter your service address to view Broadband Labels. If your plan is no longer available to new customers, you can call Comcast Business Customer Service at (844) 963-0206 to request a more recent label for your service plan.

What if I want to see the Broadband Label for a service plan that I had previously?

If you switch to a new plan, the label shown in your My Account portal will be updated to reflect that new plan. Broadband Labels are only available for the service plan to which you currently subscribe and for service plans that are currently available to new customers.

What if I want to see Broadband Labels for service plans other than my service plan?

Broadband Labels for plans available in the service location you are interested in can be found by visiting https://business.comcast.com/broadbandfacts. Enter your service address to view Broadband Labels. If Comcast provides Broadband service for the location you have entered, there will be an option to toggle between Comcast Business Internet and Comcast Business Mobile data options.

Why doesn’t my bill match my label exactly?

The FCC’s rules specify what content can be included on the Broadband Label, which may be different from the content shown on your bill. For example:

  • If you have multiple Comcast Business brand products, any discount for multiple products will not be displayed on the Broadband Label.
  • If you have a discount for Auto Pay and Eco Billing on your Comcast Business services, that discount is not included in the price listed on the Broadband Label.
  • If you purchase additional internet equipment beyond the gateway, those costs are not listed on the Broadband Label. These include:
    • WiFi Boost Pods
    • Connection Pro
    • WiFi Pro
    • SmartOffice
  • If you have a Comcast Business Mobile device payment plan, that is not listed on the Broadband Label.

In some cases, your bill may reflect promotional pricing, and a Broadband Labels for Comcast Business services do not reflect promotional pricing.

If your plan was no longer available to new customers as of April 10, 2024, a Broadband Label may not exist for your plan. If you switch to a new plan, the Broadband Label for the new plan will be displayed on My Account.
