recently upgraded to 300mbit service and someone arbitrarily added this security edge service. I need to have it disabled.

@user_525fbc You have to call, sit on hold, wait to be told they can't fix it and that it has to be escalated to 'tier 2.' Then you wait some more and eventually get someone that will grill you on why you want to disable it and then they will event

This appears to have somehow been re-enabled. I've been getting spammed with about a dozen 'securityedge' email alerts every day. Can you please disable security edge for me?
