So for over a week now my connection goes from being decent, to less than dial-up, to completely offline. I have checked all of your documentation on how to resolve such issues assuming they are on my end. From what I can see from my modem, these forums, and various other locations this is NOT on my

Unfortunately, you are attributing a comment not made by myself as a pretext for rude behavior. Shouting someone down is a clear indication that your argument is weak and your call for strict rules around your own submissions don't mean a hill of bea

Aside from the rude commenter, this appears to have been resolved by a new boot file. The issue appeared to be only three upstream channels were allocated where there should have been four. All four are now present and latency and packet loss are gon

I'm seeing something similar. After approx. 24 hours the SMC will now start dropping packets and ping latency shoots from a normal avg. of 34ms to 180ms. This will persist and the modem will slowly stop responding. Resetting the modem solves the prob

Dual-Stack have been enabled on both the SMC D3G CCR and the Cisco DPC3939B..  If you dont have dual-stack reboot your device and the bootfile will enable it..

Here we are, ~ six months later, and still no working update for the SMC. Can we get information on the path forward? If it's the Netgear, then let's hear it. Otherwise, when is the SMC going to function as intended? Comcast just upped the monthly fe

My guess is that the SMC designers never intended the device to be deployed with both an RG and Dynamic configuration simultaneously. The decision to deploy statically or dynamically would seem to apply to both v4 and v6. The SMC works fine if you do

Yes, prefix delegation and v6 routing are both broken/MIA on the SMC. We've been waiting for a couple of months for a fix...so far no word on if it's coming or not. Thanks

Still wondering what's up with the SMC. Is it going to be addressed, or should I move to the Netgear? Thanks

Just checking to see if there is any progress on the SMC delegation? Thanks
