Over the last weekend, we upgraded our Comcast business Internet system to a significantly faster level. As part of that change, we needed to replace our old SCG Comcast business gateway.  The new gateway (CBR CGA4131COM) will not accept either of the default passwords and will not let me log

Thanks for your prompt responses. However, it looks like I only have two choices:  1). Find some way to enter the Admin Tool via one of the default passwords.  I have tried that repeatedly and it does not work (nor is there any visible way

Yes, that is exactly the area we are having problems with. The Admin tool does not accept the two default passwords and there is no way that I can see that allows us to change the non-working passwords. John

My buisness recentky changed over to Comcast Business. I would like to add a wifi range extender so the back of the warehouse has wifi. We have a gateway (Model DPC3941B). I noticed the gateway login page has an option for devices. I would like to know what is the best extender to use that can accom

We are a Comcast Business customer and have a Comcast (Cisco) DPC39398 gateway/router. The Wi-Fi coverage from that device does not cover our entire office (sluggish response).  My understanding is that the Comcast mesh devices (xFi pods) do no

I see Comcast is rolling out their Mest WiFi pods in the Chicago area. Can I add this to my Business Internet. We are having some coverage problems with WiFi. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Does Comcast Business offer a mesh wi-fi system? We have found that mesh systems do a much better job of covering a larger office space.  Without mesh, the Comcast business router does not offer adequate coverage for wi-fi signals. I am hope

We are using the Comcast (Cisco) DPC3941B router/gateway on a small office network.  We need to forward Port 443 to the server.  The IP value of the Comcast gateway is 192.168.16.1.  The fixed IP value for the server is 192.168.16.2.  Whenever I try to create a port forwarding rule on Port 80 or Por

Thanks for your comments.  We have also had sporadic success in implementing port forwarding with the DPC3941.  Do you know if the DPC3939 any better in this regard?
