I attempted this post before but apparently it only saved a draft with my message tags set - let's try again. I'm running into the exact same issues as in other threads with a static IPv4 address and attempting DHCPv6-PD; it appears only holmosapien has gotten a real fix, and I'm hoping to piggyback

I've been asking for this to get fixed for over two years with the GCA4131COM. I've had multiple techs out, had a phone conference and screen share session with folks in Philadelphia, had two escalation managers and yet nothing is solved. My tickets

Hello, I am unable to get internal traffic to route to the internet with my new CGA4131COM. I have tried DHCPv6 and SLAAC and both are not working. The Cisco gateway I had in the past worked find with DHCPv6 enabled. This new box isn’t working in the same manner.

Hi Gina, Originally I had setup the CGA4131COM using this post. LAN DHCP is not disabled for IPv4. I handle LAN DHCP with the pfsense box and use static IPs on my WAN so I did not change this setting. IPv6 is set with the following options: Stateless

Hi Gina, I have static IPv4 IPs, so the CGA4131COM must *NOT* be set into bridge mode per support.  The CGA4131COM runs into a pfsense router/firewall, then out to my network. I have everything on the CGA4131COM disabled.IPv4 & IPv6 - Disable entire

I run a firewall between my network and the Comcast "cable modem", but I'm unable to get DHCPv6-PD to work, and I'm guessing Comcast has turned off DHCPv6 entirely from what I'm reading. If that's the case, how am I supposed to route my /64 (or "/56", but we really only get a /64, and I'd be happy w

@Comcast_phil You didn't answer his question. It was: "how am I supposed to route my /64". The comcast IPv6 support has been beyond frustrating. I can't get my internal IPv6 to route either.

Hello! I recently moved my business service and the technician installed a Technicolor CGA4131COM. This device is significantly different than the gateway that I had installed in my previous location. After reading some forum posts, I have successfully been able to configure my router with my static
