Web Hosting with Comcast, but Domain Registration with GoDaddy

I'm trying to setup web hosting on my comcastbiz.net account, but I want the domain registration to remain with GoDaddy.

The knowledge base article seems to indicate I should use the "Bring Existing Domain" option, but I'm not clear on whether that just sets up the hosting after verifying domain ownership or whether that would make Comcast my domain registrar.  I DO NOT want Comcast to be my domain registrar.

And might I add I called support earlier tonight and they couldn't help me.  They transferred me to the "Web hosting" department where I could barely hear the rep on the phone.  I swear I heard other conversations and people yelling in the background.

Re: Web Hosting with Comcast, but Domain Registration with GoDaddy

Welcome docerri.  The <Bring Existing Domain> option does not change your registrar, it allows for the hosting of your website and/or email by Comcast.  It is necessary to complete the CNAME verification process prior to changing the DNS records to point to Comcast.

Thank You
