Outlook 2010 Clients unable to send/recieve

We have just switched to Comcast for our Exchange hosting, and I am having intermittent issues where users' inboxes are not updating. i can see emails sitting in teh web client, but they will not get to the desktop. Outlook says it's connected to Exchange, but sitting in the task bar is "Updating Contacts. Updating Inbox". It's been several hours and email is not being recieved.
