Microsoft Exchange for Outlook - Now stuck in Outlook Web Access Light

Help.

Internet explorer 11 updated last night.  Now when I enter outlook I am stuck in "Outlook Web Access Light"  which is incomplete for calendar purposes. I can now only see one day at a time instead of a week at a time.

My older computer that uses Internet Explorer 10 has no problem getting the full version of outlook.

What can be done to sole this problem?

Do I have to uninstall my Internet Explorer 11 update?

Hello John228MN,

Welcome to the forum.

The community would like to help but can you clarify few items for us?

1. Which webmail server are you accessing? (Example: webmail.ch4.comcast.net)

2. When you are accessing OWA (outlook webmail access) do you see an option that has "check mark" that says

    "Use Outlook Web Access Light"

If so can you uncheck it?

Thank you

Re: Microsoft Exchange for Outlook - Now stuck in Outlook Web Access Light

I have, I believe, the same problem.

I opened the email page today and the interface looked quite a bit different. The number of emails per page appears to have been reset and I no longer have color categories which I use regularly, nor the flags. I believe I am missing tasks too which is probably related to no flags.

webmail server is. webmail.hmc1.comcast.net

And no, I cannot uncheck the 'light' version checkbox.

My first guess from poking around is, the IE update that occurred last night, changed a security setting which is making it unable to access the full version. I will be checking that and check back when I'm either stumped or find an answer.

Re: Microsoft Exchange for Outlook - Now stuck in Outlook Web Access Light

I have the same issue when I opened my email this mornig as well after an update.  I have the ability to uncheck the sign in using the light version and it opens it in that version anyway.  When I check my mail preferences they match the regular version preferences.  HELP  I do not like the light version

Re: Microsoft Exchange for Outlook - Now stuck in Outlook Web Access Light

When I go to  http://webmail.hmc1.comcast.net using IE11 it does not give me the ability to uncheck the box. I called customer support and they said that it is Microsoft's fault. Then I called Microsoft and they said it's was Comcast's fault.

I've tried to delete the cache and also tested it in private mode with no luck. I have also tested it on anohter computer with no luck as well. I have also played with the security settings.

What I find partially weird is that the site www.webmail.ch4.comcast.net you can uncheck the box.

Re: Microsoft Exchange for Outlook - Now stuck in Outlook Web Access Light

Has this ever been fixed? My boss is having the same problem. It always takes her to the lite version even though she does not check it. This makes her forwarded emails all turn into nonsense when she sends them.

We use: https://webmail.po2.comcast.net

She has tried it using IE11 and firefox

She has windows 7 but it does the same thing on windows 8

Any help would be great!!

the emails with pictures in them look like this:
