Email not being received by specific clients

We are using our business service to send emails to client through our own in-house custom built application. However there are some clients who cannot receive some of the emails. They are not in the client's junk/spam filter. Most of the clients are fine.

 

For example:

 

Yesterday we sent Email 1  and Email 2 to Client A. Client A was able to receive Email 2, but not Email 1. Email 1 was resent several times and Client A never received it.

 

What can we do about this?

Welcome swdesign.  Thank you for the post.  We will need some additional information concerning the issue.  Are you experiencing the same intermittent issue when sending from the webmail interface?  Also are you using the comcastbiz.net domain for your outbound SMTP or your custom domain?  Let us know please.

We do not use the webmail interface, so I cannot speak to that. We are using smtp.hmc1.comcast.net. as the smtp server. We are using our comcast username/password for this as well.

 

Please let me know if you need any more information.

Any word on this? It is still an issue and now we found out not just from our application but also from Outlook. Some clients cannot receive emails and they are not in their junk folder.

Hi SWDesign. To further assist we will need the domain for your outbound mail and any bouncback error message.  Also are you including a URL as a part of the signature?  If so please include the URL in response.

The domain for the from email addresses? There are many domains, as we are sending emails from a web application we host on our servers. The from email addresses are our client's email addresses.  We are not receiving any bounce backs just reports that clients are not receiving such emails.

 

We do have one issue internally from our dogbizpro.com. We have at least one client who cannot receive our emails. No bounceback here either.

 

What other information do you need?

Any word on this??? We are having more and more complaints. We are paying good money each month for the internet service. Can someone please shed some light on why this is happening??? We are using the following server: smtp.hmc1.comcast.net. Is there another we can try?

Swdesign.  We have referred this issue to Comcast Security Assurance.  A support agent will follow up with you.
