Business Class Email Unable to Send

Sending' reported error (0x80042109) : 'Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).' Can I get someone to check into this? Thanks.

Out outgoing email is down as well.  Timeouts...

Socket Error: 10061

Socket Error: 10061 , Port: 587, Protocol: SMTP.No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

 

We're unable to send emails from outlook express, outlook and incredmail. Webmail and outlook exhchange are working. The outgoing port is set to 587 with my server requires authentication checked. We haven't changed anything recently.

Email servers down

Does anyone have any information on the Comcast email servers?  Our emails have been out since 9 am 7/23/12  Calls for tech support result in confirmation that they are aware and working on it, but no info on when it might be back up, and they cannot suggest any work around.
