To view your IPv6 configuration, you're able to do so by logging into the gateway. You would select Connection > WAN Status. This will display both your IPv6 default address and also your static.

Everything I read says IPV6 is supported and live on Comcast.
I have an ipv4 static IP and have a Comcast business wireless gateway. My business login on Comcast shows my IPv4 and IPv6 static IP's' For many months/years I was able to use IPv6 and tested fine at http://test-ipv6.comcast.net/
(although I never tried IPv6 static)
I had an issue with the Comcast wireless gateway and needed to do a factory reset. I lost all support for IPv6.
I called in a ticket, it was escalated. The tech was unable to correct the settings on the modem remotely to enable IPv6. He scheduled a service call for a field tech to swap the modem and assured me that would fix the issue.
Modem swapped- still no IPv6 - the wan page looks like this with IPv6 settings all missing or link local:
Tech didn't know how to fix, he called dispatch who tried pushing settings again, nothing worked. So she contacted someone who told us that I don't need IPv6 DNS for IPv6 that 188.8.131.52 is just fine. Then they told me the "system" was recently updated and now you get either ipv4 or ipv6- whichever is "strongest signal"
Pretty sure their training is a little off?
1) am I not correct that I should be able to use IPv6 on my static business account?
2) if IPv6 should work, who do I need to contact to fix this?

can gina or ken or someone from Comcast get a hold of me and fix my PM- ken and gina have my information and i've been PM'ing but the system says i have too many pm's and can't send any more to let them know my modem is not fixed
short version = my ipv6 got pushed to new modem but now my ipv4 has wrong information on modem and doesnt match my static ipv4.
Hi michaelk, thanks so much for letting us know about the issue with the private messages; I see that KenF responded there and so I reached out to see how to get this resolved so we can get the IPv issues taken care of there, since from the sounds of it we may need to get into the specifics.
IPv6 static will/can change if you change modems.
The automated link is supposed to update but doesnt always. Tier 2 tells me that the modem is always right and ignore the comcast link if there is a conflict.
