Using the SMCD3G-CCR with a Layer 3 Switch utilizing multiple VLANs

Can someone please provide a list of the know issues with using the SMCD3G-CCR modem/router in front of layer 3 switches tha utilize miltiple VLANs?

The modem works fine until it is plugged in to any type of Enterprise Class networking equipment.  I have read multiple posts that the SMCD3G-CCR does not work with VLANs and all reply comments by Comcast have been private messages to the user making the post.  That in itself lets me know that there is an issue with trying to utilize this modem/router infront of an Enterprise Class Network.

So the simple question we need a yes or no answer to is: Does the SMCD3G-CCR modem/router work with all of the VLANs that are configured in a Layer 3 switch?

Thank you

Welcome splash13. Thank you for the post.  The SMCD3 is utilized by Comcast for Small Business/SOHO customers, The device is not configured to support Enterprise level applications/services.  Comcast does offer Enterprise Internet Services.  Here is a link to information on Comcast Enterprise Services

Thank You
