We are also having the same issue with our modem. The password was changed several months back but was not documented as to what the password was so we cannot get in to tweak any settings.

It's a fascinating phenomenon how I can never remember a password unless i'm in the exact same state of mind as when I thought it up. I need my router login reset, and I suspect I will remember what password I set last time the instant I go to set a new one.

Good to hear kclyde that our team was able to assist you.
Technically you can reset the password if you press the button on the back of the IP-Gateway.
But this will reset the unit to "factory" status and removes all custom settings on it, such as port forwarding rules.
If at all possible a manual password reset via a support call (or post on this forum) will be the better option.
