We need to access our gateway routers settings to confirm some network settings. We have forgotten the username and password on it however.
Could you please rest it to the default for us?

To the both of you, send a private message to any of the red colored "Comcast_<username>" users on this forum, informing them that you request a password reset. Include with it your account number and cable modem MAC address.
In addition, you can always press the reset button on the back of the gateway to do a complete factory reset. Be aware that doing this will delete all static IPs as well as any custom settings you may have configured on the gateway.
