I'd like to request a reset to default password too.
I guess this is the place to get your modem reset since tier1 support in Alabama told me to:
- Factory reset(!) [right and lose my config]
- Or call back and try to get someone in Denver.
I finally persisted and the agent told me someone would contact me, I got CR471173606 for my 30 minutes of arguing.

Only your SMC login credentials have been restored to factory default setting.
