Need to block incoming ports 443 and 60443

So the is the opposite of what people usually as in these types of forums LOL.

To comply with someone for something we need to block the incoming ports 443 and 60443, just the incoming, if we block the outgoing nobody can access https

I can get into the router (Comcast supplied business router, says "Technicolor" on it) but want to make sure I do it correctly.

Advice?

Thanks!

Hello, how are you? I hope my reply finds you at a good time and your Sunday has been a good one! It sounds like your service is working and you are able to log into the modem, which is good. Support with ports is past our demarcation for assistance but I want to make sure we do all we can. If your service is not online or if you are not able to get into the modem, please let us know.

Awesome, thanks for your understanding and for using forums. I am sure our community will provide some useful insight. I have also seen customers get support with these functions by contacting the modem manufacturer. Good luck!

Hi, Dave! Happy Friday to you! Just in case you aren’t already aware, for the protection of the network and our customers, Comcast Business Internet does block certain ports. For more details, please feel free to click on the following link to see which ports are blocked and why. https://comca.st/3o5AnOL

Thanks, I'm aware 🙂 What I'm trying to do is block an unblocked port, incoming only

Is there a way to direct message that to you? I would rather not post all of that publicly 🙂
