Is it possible to use the Netgear CM500-100NAS modem with the Deluxe 50 plan?

I have one of those and I want to use it as my modem, instead of buying a new one.

Hello eac and welcome,

If you want to use your Customer Owned Modem (COM) you must go to http://mydeviceinfo.comcast.net and in the Business Internet Tier gauge, drag the blue ball to Deluxe 50, then look at the supported COM that Comcast allows. After you obtain your COM, then you can contact 800-391-3000, use the high speed internet technical option, then inform the technical agent that you would like to use your supported COM. Please be advised that Comcast does not support COM hardware or you cannot use a Comcast Static IP on a COM.

Hope this helps you out.
