I use scan to email a lot, and have a lot of clients that use scan to email. Incoming or outgoing, the email always reads as from "email@example.com". So I have no idea who its from until i open it. My email filters/labels dont work properly etc. Its just a pain. It dont matter what brand machine sends the scan (cannon, ricio, hp, brother) or what city that machine is in. It all reads as from firstname.lastname@example.org. Is this a setting that needs to be changed on the machine sending the scans or is this a default of some kind from using comcast internet to send them? If it is a default of using comcast business internet, is there a way to register that machine so it displays the company name instead of "scanner"?
